Earlier in 2017 I was fortunate to be asked to shoot all the water sequences on Rhiannon Bannenberg’s film Riptide. After working on a commercial with the amazing DOP Tania Lambert, she was kind enough to give me the opportunity to work with her on the film. It was all shot at one of my favourite locations on the south coast of NSW and we had a great time as a team in the shooting process. When fashion model Cora (Debby Ryan, Disney’s JESSIE, Radio Rebel) suffers an embarrassing “fashion faux pas” there is nothing else for it but to head down under to Australia for some peace and tranquillity.
However, life out of the spotlight is not what it is cracked up to be. Expecting a five star holiday with her Aunt Margot (Genevieve Hegney, The Kettering Incident), Cora realises all too late that her idylic beachside retreat has no internet access and is a long way from the nearest city.
With the thought of the vicious world awaiting her back home, Cora feels trapped, but as time goes by, friendships bloom and romance sparks between Cora and local Tom (Andrew Creer, Tomorrow When The War Began). Still keen to return home and resume the career she left behind, Cora is torn between her welcoming community and the bright future and potential fame that awaits her back in America.

Last year I had the pleasure of working with Damon Cameron of Collider and Ross Giardina ACS and The Heli Guys on the latest ADF Army campaign. I was asked to shoot 2nd Unit and Water on the commercial that was shot over 8 days in three different Queensland locations. Was a great experience and the results speak for themselves. Epic work by all involved and good times all round.

I was recently asked to shoot houses all around my old hometown and for the NRL’s Launch video. Directed by Scott Otto Anderson, Daniel Ardilley sent me out on a couple of evenings to shoot for the above commercial. Hopefully we can repeat the success that was the 2016 NRL season, and the best game of Rugby League I have ever watched that capped it off for all us long suffering Fans!!!
